About Us
Your Child Is in Great Hands
Philosophy
We believe children learn and develop through play in both their learning experiences and their environment.
Literacy and language development are encouraged daily in the classroom. We believe education and guidance decisions for children must be based on a collaborative partnership between parents and families with a collective knowledge of child development. We believe in caring and educating all children in positive emotional and social environments that are cognitively stimulating and that support each child’s culture, language, ethnicity and family structure which is recognized and valued in the program.
Children develop every day in five main areas of development: health and physical development, social and emotional development, language development and communication, approaches to learning, and cognition and general knowledge.
Environment
The classroom environment is designed with all sorts of centers to keep the children busy with learning and playing. The rooms have math, reading, writing, science, nature, and block centers. These centers are made to promote best practices for the children in learning and developing.
The environment reflects the program environment by ensuring that children develop every day in five main areas of development: health and physical development, social and emotional development, language development and communication, approaches to learning, and cognition and general knowledge.
The classrooms are also full of multicultural books, toys, and pictures so the children are exposed to variety of differences in people. The large group classrooms have lots of space to learn and play.
